Job Overview:
My client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join their team. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages. This includes conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and monitoring eye health.

Duties:

• Evaluate contact lens suitability and address issues such as computer vision syndrome and dry eye problems
• Detect and manage eye diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
• Proficient in specialty contact lens fittings and myopia management

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school
• Valid state license to practice optometry or the ability to obtain one
• Proficiency in optical instruments and equipment used for diagnosis and treatment
• Ability to contract with major insurance companies and obtain a Drug Enforcement Agency certification

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
